Spirit of Beacon Day 2025 Parade Lineup

We are looking forward to this Sunday’s 48th Spirit of Beacon Day celebration. The weather looks good, and the stage is set for another successful event!

The day begins with a special ceremony at 11:30 am on the main stage at Veterans’ Place. During this program, we will honor and recognize Beaconites who have been named Volunteers of the Year for their dedication to community service and volunteerism, as well as remember community members we’ve lost who truly embodied the Spirit of Beacon. If you are able, please join us for this moment before lining up for the parade.

Parade Lineup

• Lineup begins at 12:00 pm (noon), when Wolcott Ave will be closed.

• Please check in with Rich Rinaldi, Spirit of Beacon Day committee member, at Polhill Park (next to Bank Square).

• Volunteer Mike and our youth volunteers will be on hand to help guide groups to their standing locations.

• The parade will officially begin at 1:00 pm.

Float Competition

• Three judges will be positioned along the parade route.

• The winner will be announced on Spirit of Beacon’s social media in the days following the event.

• The grand prize is $250.

• Each elementary school that created a float will also receive their $150 reimbursement check on parade day.
