Remember this? When the Spirit of Beacon Day went to its Rain Date in 2023? It was may the 2nd time in its decades old history. Fortunately, the day held out, and it was a beautiful day for the Spirit of Beacon Day 2023.

It was a year of firsts and lasts for the Spirit of Beacon Day.

The (second but major) move to go to rain date.
The first year the Beacon Farmers Market was allowed by stay open by the City of Beacon. This was major! Spirit of Beacon Day Committees have been advocating for this for years.
The first year that Dutchess County dedicated a shuttle bus to Beacon that circled from the MTA Beacon Train Station to Main Street to help people park for free down at the train station and get shuttled up. It was possibly the last year for a musical stage at Cross Street, as construction may begin there for build a new building in that garden.

But, rain or shine is our plan if possible, due to scheduling for vendors, bands, etc.
