Everyone is SO excited to see you in the parade.

Here are the details you need to know:

LINEUP TIME:
Arrive at 12pm to line up. Parade steps off at 1pm.

LINEUP ROUTE:
Lineup is along Wolcott Avenue. All the way back towards Rose Hill Day Care. If you have little kids, consider bringing a wagon or stroller.

The lineup will go in 2 lanes, both facing Main Street. The middle lane will be open so that vehicles and walkers can go through to get to their assigned spot.

The left lane will go first until complete. Then the right lane will go second.

LINEUP SETUP:

VEHICLES IN PARADE: If you have a vehicle in the parade, you will park on Wolcott (aka 9D) in your assigned spot. We will do our best to get you to your assigned spot, but if you don’t get there, that’s OK. You will be in the parade no matter if you’re out of your order or not.

If you are walking, but driving yourself to get closer in order to walk, please park on a side street. You will not park on 9D. You will park on a side street and walk.

If you're coming from the mountain side:
Drive up Teller Avenue, past the Beacon Daily, and turn onto Wolcott Avenue towards Beacon Dental. Continue driving, and you'll be met by a Spirit Volunteer.

If you're coming from the I-84 side:
Drive down Wolcott Avenue, and take a right on Beekman Street. Circle round, passing Brett's Hardware, passing the train station, passing Dia, and come out on Wolcott Avenue. Take a left on Wolcott. Continue driving, and you'll be met by a Spirit Volunteer.

If you're walking:
Come down Main Street or Wolcott Avenue to the Visitor's Center. A Spirit Volunteer will meet you.

PARADE ROUTE:

Goes from Main Street and Wolcott Avenue (Bank Square), to Tioronda and Main Street (Howland Cultural Center)

PARKING
If you are walking to be in the parade, please park your car on a side street nearby. There is no designated parking for you. There is free parking down at City Hall/Police Station, which is close by. Do not park in the Bank Square parking lot, because that is mainly private residential parking.

If you are walking to the parade, you could enter by foot from side streets. But do not drive down side streets to enter the parade LineUp. Please enter from way back at Teller Avenue (Beacon Daily and George Washington's Head) or Beekman (Riverview by Halvey Funeral Home and Dia: Beacon)

BATHROOM
There will be 2 porta-potties for you at the Visitor's Center in Polhill Park.

K104.7 IS COMING!
The radio station has confirmed that they are coming. They will play radio music during the pre-lineup, and will MC to announce each parade participant. They will be stationed at Polhill Park.

VOLUNTEERS + CHECK-IN
We will do our best to help you. Drive in from far down Wolcott Avenue (by Teller near The Beacon Daily) to arrive from the back. Do not drive in from side streets.

If you are walking, you can check in with Melissa Shae at the Visitor’s Center at Polhill Park. But please go to the top of Wolcott for check-in if you are driving.

Other volunteers in special Volunteer Spirit t-shirts will be floating through the entire lineup to assist.

RAIN PLAN:

Rain or shine.

See you there!
