The Spirit of Beacon Day is a city wide celebration for the community of Beacon, New York held annually since 1977 on the last Sunday of September. The parade and festival highlights local community groups, volunteer organizations and schools, all joining together on Beacon's vibrant Main Street. This year's event was on Sunday, September 30th, 12pm - 4pm ( Parade running between 1pm -2pm ). Click on the Newsletter below for the pre-event updates.
Spirit of Beacon Day is organized and run by a volunteer committee with hands on help and donations by local citizens and businesses, alongside the support of the City.
